Malda Club is the oldest club of English Bazar Town and one of the oldest club of entire North Bengal. The club was established in the year 1902. The History of the club is traced to the pre-independence era and the club was predominantly e European Club till independence with the District Magistrate, Malda and the Superintendent of Police occupying the Honory positions of President and Vice President of the club respectively. Till this date the District Magistrate, Malda and the Superintendent of Police, Malda hold the said positions. Presently Mr Krishnendu Narayan Chowdhury, Hon’ble Former Minister, Govt of West Bengal and Mr A R Bardhan, Ex District Magistrate of Malda and the Secretary, Govt of West Bengal is the Chief patron of the club.

The club is prominently located in posh area of the English Bazar Town and the ambiance of the club is very cozy and warm. The campus is aesthetically maintained with sufficient greenery and flower garden.
